Good News for Junjo Romantica, Love Mode and Black Knight!
Lots of good news this week for several popular titles!

• Junjo Romantica: The anime version will be airing a second season in Japan, starting in October, and BLU Manga continues to release the English manga series with volume 7 in September of 2008 and volume 8 available in January 2009.
• Black Knight: The long-awaited fourth volume of this series will be released in English by BLU Manga in February of 2009.
• Love Mode: BLU Manga has confirmed that Volume 11 will be published despite earlier reports questioning the fact. It is due out for release in October of 2008.

No More File-Sharing at Boys on Boys on Film
After a long struggle trying to retrieve our unlicensed yaoi anime files from TheLinkUp file-sharing service, we learned this week that TheLinkUp is closing down operations rather than try any further to restore their users' files. Because of this, Boys on Boys on Film will no longer be able to share unlicensed digital fansubs through this site. See the full explanation if you're curious, and thanks for understanding.

Antique Bakery Fansubs Online!
The first fansubbed episodes of Antique Bakery, the anime based on Fumi Yoshinaga's incredibly popular manga of the same name, are now online via AnimeSuki. Antique Bakery is the story of a bakery owner who employs an adorable gay baker for his quaint little shop, only to find out that his new employee is the same high-school classmate he violently rejected years ago. While neither the manga or the anime are considered boys' love, the gay characters are portrayed with positive humor and have a prominent role in the plot.

Kyo Kara Maoh! Re-Starts in September!
FUNimation will pick up releasing the Kyo Kara Maoh! anime series where distribution left off last year, with Volume 7 of Season 2 available on September 2, 2008. The anime itself is still produced by Geneon, but the physical DVDs will be created and distributed by FUNimation.

DMP Clarifies Doki Doki Label
Rachel Livingston of Digital Manga Publishing contacted us today to clear up some confusion about their Doki Doki label, its purpose, and the announcements at Anime Expo last weekend:

"Doki Doki isn't a purely yaoi label. So there are a bunch of titles under the imprint that aren't yaoi. Wolf God and Crimson Cross aren't yaoi. In fact, I don't think any of the Doki Doki titles we announced at Anime Expo are yaoi titles."
